This WiFi-Set is especially designed for mobile usage for example on Yachts, Boats, Caravans, Capming-Sites. It helps you to establish a connection to a wifi network on high distances. The WiFI USB set includes a high gain 2.4 GHz WiFi USB Adapter and a 2.4GHz Omni Antenna with 7dBi gain. Both components are totally weatherproof and can be used outdoor.
Often you have problems with WiFi reception due to a bad parking space in ports, marinas, camping or large parking lots. The signal is severely affected by the long distance and / or interference factors, so that only a weak signal is available at your location. By using this WiFi set you are able to receive the WiFI signal even from a high distance!
Due to the omnidirectional pattern, the antenna does not have to be aligned separately and also compensates height differences.
The connection between the USB Adapter and your notebook will be done with the 5m USB cable which is included.
The WiFi Set supports datarates up to 150Mbps at 2.4GHz (IEEE 802.11b/g/n).
