Designed for IoT M2M (machine-to-machine) systems - the HORIZON HELIUM City is a weatherproof omnidirectional antenna designed for the 868 MHz band. With a performance gain of 6dBi, if the antenna is correctly positioned, a large area can be illuminated. Due to the vertical signal opening angle of 30°, the antenna is particularly suitable for high positions. The antenna can be combined with the following HELIUM miners: Bobcat, Nebra, Sensecap, Cal-Chip, ClodPi, COTX Networks, Controllino, FreedomFi, Linxdot, Heltec, Kerlink, Long AP, Pisces, RAKWireless, Syncrobit
The antenna has a built-in band pass filter. As a result, interference from other transmitters working in neighboring radio bands, and in particular the GSM 900 / 4G 800 MHz system, which transmits with high output powers, is filtered accordingly in order to ensure low-interference operation. All frequencies outside the antenna working band are short-circuited to ground.
HORIZON HELIUM City is a carefully designed and built omni-directional antenna operating in the unlicensed 867-870MHz band. Typical applications are monitoring and digital transmission of small amounts of data. Compared to the previous model of this antenna, the design of the radiator has changed. Silver-plated radiating elements were used (increasing the efficiency of the antenna).
The enclosure of the HORIZON antenna is made of heavy fiberglass. The robust, light weight and UV resistant construction is weatherproof (IP64 rating) which makes the antanna usable for in- and outdoor appliances.
The antenna is designed for mast/pole or wall handle installation. A mounting kit (angle bracket and u-clamp for 30-50mm diameter handles) is included.
