2.4 GHz WiFi Directional Helical Antenna | Circular Pol, Outdoor, 18dBi

This directional WiFi Helix / Helical antenna is designed for the 2.4GHz frequency band (WiFi standard) and supports all established 2.4 GHz WiFi standards (IEEE 802.11 b/g/n). Helical antennas are directional antennas with a circular polarization. The special feature of this WiFi antenna is the circular polarization. The use of a circularly polarized Wi-Fi helical antenna is particularly suitable when strong signal reflections are to be expected, such as when operating a WiFi connection in or through buildings.

Directional antennas are characteristically constructed for point-to-point and/or point-to-multipoint connections. This helical antenna has a gain of 18dBi. It can be used for long range links. Please note that the antenna only generates such a high gain when a circularly polarized antenna is also located on the opposite side. It is important to also ensure that the set-helix antennas have the same rotation (here left-handed).

The enclosure of the WiFi helical antenna is made of solid plastic. It is absolutely hermetic and totally UV resistant and weatherproof. Due to this, the antenna can be used for in- and outdoor appliances.

The antenna is designed for mast/pole or wall handle installation (see mounting hardware). A mounting kit (angle bracket and u-clamp for 30-50mm diameter handles) is included.
