5 GHz Directional Antennas
5GHz Directional Antennas: Bundles the signal into a small opening angle during operation. This means that only a very small area is illuminated with the WiFi signal, but it is intensively and with a long range. A directional antenna is therefore very suitable for so-called point-to-point connections (also known as PtP or WiFi bridge) or point-to-multipoint over long distances.
In principal: The higher the gain of a WiFi antenna (specified in dBi), the higher the range. The smaller the signal opening angle, the more concentrated the WiFi signal. It is always recommended to mount WiFi antennas with a free field of view between the antennas. This usually leads to a stable, reliable WiFi connection
