4G Antenna Cable / Adapter
For the connection between an 4G antenna and an 4G device (such as an router or surf stick) you need an antenna cable and possibly a connection adapter.
4G antenna: It is quite simple with 4G antennas. Mainly, the manufacturers of the antennas use the coaxial connector of the type N female socket. In rare cases, other connector types such as BNC used. But this is rather the exception. The N connector is a solid coax connector.
4G Router:Mainly connectors of the type SMA female socket are used here. In a few cases, however, there are also 4G routers with an antenna connector of TS9 or CRC9 format. These are more like small travel routers or routers with a very compact design. You can always find information on this in the technical data sheet of the respective device.
4G Surf Stick / MiFi Router: Typically, TS-9 or CRC-9 connectors are used. As a rule, a connection adapter must be used here. Make sure that you prefer to use a pigtail, i.e. a short adapter cable instead of a solid adapter. Both CRC9 and TS9 are very small, sensitive connecrors. A solid adapter would have a fairly large leverage effect here. If you are unsure which connection your device has, we can help you!
4G antenna cables, adapters, window bushings: For the connection between the 4G antenna and 4G device, we offer our TWIN cable (also called duplex or dual cable). This cable has two separate wires that are routed in one strand. This means that the cable can easily be used for the MIMO technology used at 4G. We offer the cable with N male connector to SMA male connector (suitable for 4G antenna and 4G router) in various lengths. We also offer 4G extension cables for an existing connection as well as window bushings and connection adapters / pigtails for TS9 / CRC9.
