This compact WiFi Omni Antenna is designed for 2.4GHz WiFi frequency band (IEEE 802.11 b/g/n) and has a gain of 2dBi.
Omni Wi-Fi Antennas in general are charcteristically constructed to cover large areas and to provide the WiFi Signal all-over into all directions. This WiFi Antenna has a horizontal and vertical beamwidth of 360° which allows to use this WiFi antenna to cover multi-storie houses.
This type of Wi-Fi Antenna will be typically used for WiFi Base Stations like DSL Router / Access Point or for WiFi Clients like Notebook / PC's.

Our hint: Sometimes it helps to move your WiFi device a few centimeters to optimize the signal. Another option is to use a magnet base with extension cable to find a good location for the WiFi Antenna.
