2.4 GHz Directional Antennas
WiFi directional antenna: A directional antenna focuses the signal on a narrow signal opening angle and generates a high power gain through the bundling. Generally speaking, the smaller the opening angle of the Wi-Fi directional antenna, the higher the transmission power. Due to the strong bundling, although little space is supplied, but very high ranges can be achieved with a WiFI directional antenna. Directional antennas are used on point-to-point or point-to-multipoint links.
In principle, the higher the power gain of an antenna (expressed in dBi), the higher the range of the antenna. The smaller the signal opening angle, the more concentrated it is.
